City Creek’s Speech-Language Pathologist is a SPEAK OUT!® Provider, trained by the Parkinson Voice Project® . SPEAK OUT!® is a speech therapy program designed for people with Parkinson’s and increased difficulty communicating. Many people with Parkinson’s develop a weaker voice, which can lead to significant speech and swallowing problems. SPEAK OUT!® is a program of individual speech therapy sessions and daily home practice, helping patients achieve louder, clearer, more expressive speech.
On March 14, 2020, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services advised of a nationwide restriction on visitation in skilled nursing facilities. Until further notice, we will be following this direction.
